IMPACTFUL INFLUENCE: Hosea 10:12 Phase 4 Nationwide Fasting, Prayers and Intercession Launch

Pursuant to this “New Season”, the Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP) launched the Hosea 10:12 Phase 4 on April 21, Tuesday, and will run until May 11 this year. Phase 4 was launched through the early morning IWAD or “I will Awaken the Dawn” convergence at 5:00 am to 6:00 am with Bishop “Kuya” Dan A. Balais, the IFP National Chairman, and concurrently, the CLSF Senior Pastor and Spiritual Director giving the exhortation defining the theme: “Impactful Influence” based on Matt  5:13-14 the Lord Jesus declaring that the believers are salt of the Earth and light of the world. This is the Fourth Phase of the Hosea 10:12 Fasting, Prayers, and Intercession throughout the “Seven Unified Regional Command” that IFP adopted from our Armed Forces of the Philippines, started with the Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) (Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon, including the Scarborough Shoal and the Benham Rise). Three days are allotted per Unified Command. This will be followed by National Capital Region (CENTCOM) composed of all the 17 cities of Metro Manila; Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM) (Calabarzon; Mimaropa excluding Palawan, and Bicol Region); Visayas Command (VISCOM) (Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas); Western Command (WESCOM) (Palawan and the Spratly Islands); Eastern Mindanao Command (EASTMINCOM) (Davao Region, Soccsksargen, and the Caraga Region); Western Mindanao Command (WESTMINCOM) (Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and the BARMM). As was previous Hosea 10:12 Fasting and Prayer Chain, Phase 4 will take a 21-day marathon through the aforementioned Unified Regional Commands.

It will be remembered that IFP, through its vast network throughout the country, has already launched and completed three Hosea 10:12 Fasting and Prayer Chains as follows: Phase 1 last Oct 21 to Nov 10, 2025; Phase 2 last Nov 21 to Dec 11, 2025; Phase 3 last, Feb 23 to March 13. It will be followed by three phases: Phase 5 will be from June 21 to July 11; Phase 6 will be from August 21 to Sept 10 and Phase 7 will be from October 21 to Nov 10. There will be a daily “I will Awaken the Dawn” (IWAD) Prayer Convergences from 5:00 am to 6:00 am, Monday to Friday, to be hosted by the different assigned “Regional Commands”. A possible cap for this year in December will be a three-day non-stop Praise and Worship Celebration nationwide, similar to what we carried out during our “Worship vs Warship” initiative as our prophetic strategy for the West Philippine Sea some years ago!

A remarkable breakthrough unfolded after Phase 2 of the Hosea 10:12 Fasting and Prayer Chain held from November to December 2025. This came at a time when the nation was still reeling from last year's shocking expose on widespread and deeply entrenched corruption within the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). Reports revealed collusion involving certain legislators and unscrupulous contractors who siphoned off billions of pesos in taxpayers' money through ghost flood-control projects and grossly substandard infrastructure. These abuses not only robbed the nation but also worsened flooding across the country, compounding the suffering of countless communities. As one senator put it, the onslaught of incessant heavy rains, typhoons, and widespread destructive flooding was divinely ordained to expose the blatant corruption that has reached the worst level in the nation’s history. Coupled with a lot of prophetic warnings of  bigger earthquakes reaching magnitude 7 and above that will further cause widespread destruction and death tolls of thousands of lives, Bishop “Kuya” Dan A. Balais felt that only a nationwide fasting, prayers, and repentance sustained for a long period of time, can prevent this horrible predicament from happening! So immediately, IFP moved into action as the call was trumpeted first to the IFP Luzon network present the LCCM at the APTS last October 10, right after the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles at Benguet Sports Complex in La Trinidad, Benguet. A mega-zoom of IFP Coordinators nationwide was subsequently called in the three major islands to immediately mobilize them of the Hosea 10:12 fasting, prayers and repentance, asking and pleading for the Lord’s mercy of the national sins of idolatry, corruption, shedding of innocent blood (more than 30,000 lives unjustly murdered during the last regime’s crazy anti-drug campaign), immorality, perversion, and blatant defiance of the righteous judgments of God! We have reached the rock bottom of our nation’s sins, transgressions, and iniquities. The Lord’s judgments are before us as we enter the times of the “Day of the Lord” and the threshold of the last 7 years of our Jubilee! After Hosea 10:12 Phase 2, the spate of super typhoons and big earthquakes stopped as if a divine hand has switched off the faucet of judgments! Furthermore, the planned “coup d’ etat” espoused by a big cult group failed and Kuya Dan, Bishop Noel Pantoja, Pastor Ed de Guzman, and some of the bishops and leaders were able to pray for General Romeo Brawner, Jr. at Camp Aguinaldo that eventful Sunday! It was during that prayer time at Camp Aguinaldo parade ground that the Lord impressed upon Kuya Dan that His mercy triumphed over judgment (James 2:13)!

As every Hosea 10:12 Fasting Series has a theme and focus, the theme of Hosea 10:12 Phase Four will be “Impactful Influence” based on Matthew 5:13-14 as the Lord Jesus declared the calling of His true followers as the “salt of the Earth” and the light of the world”! The Lord, after His monumental teaching on “Beatitudes” or the so-called “Eight- fold Paths,” declared the redemptive calling of the believers as “salt” of the earth and “light” of the world. He used as a metaphor the two common elements that everyone knows and experiences in their daily life - salt and light. One is for tasting and preserving, while the other is for seeing things clearly, our environment, and the events that are happening around us. Salt gives “flavor” or as applied, “meaning” and purpose for life and living; while “light” as applied to humanity gives us “enlightenment” or “understanding” on the events that are taking place on the earth from the perspective of His Word or revelation as the Psalmist says “The entrance of Your word gives Light” (Psalm 119:130) or “...In Your light, we see light” (Psalm 36:9). This is the mandate of our calling in preaching and teaching the Word of God, making known to men the Person of the Lord Jesus
